Spring!
It's here! We've had several days in a row of temperatures in the low 70s, beautiful sunshine, and birds chirping (Kitter's personal favorite). The change from winter to spring is so much more dramatic here; in Seattle, the constant drizzle and mild temperatures keep the grass green and some things blooming through the winter. Fall, winter, and spring kind of blur together in a gray drizzle, so the truly noticable change happens when the sun comes out for summer. So right now, the extra drama of distinctive seasons is very fun and exciting for us.
Well, Oprah seems determined to keep me waiting. The weekly schedule doesn't list my episode for this week, although Friday's show is still to be announced. So it might air on Friday, but then again, it might not.
Seth and I are headed to Nashville this weekend to cheer on our friends in the Music City Half-Marathon. Sean & Laura will both be running and so will Kristen Kimball, who is coming all the way from Hawaii for the event. Then the Kimball family will be coming back with us to the Chicagoland area for a few days of fun. We're looking forward to it all!
sounds like a great trip you have planned.
ReplyDeletei love spring also! people in IL told me to wait until after mother's day to plant my flowers.

Congratulations from Ohio.....WAY long time no speak!...sounds like you had fun on the show. Keep your eye out for a movie called "Joy" coming out soon; may have limited theater release, but most likely DVD. I play multiple "extras" in the movie, most noticeably a fishmonger in the seafood department at Jungle Jim's that catches a 10 lb salmon tossed from a 2nd floor loft (similar to the fish tossing at Pike St. Public Market). Anyway, stay in touch, say hello to Aaron!
